Agriculture influencer Greg Peterson, better known as Machinery Pete, saluted Trigg County agriculture Thursday night during the annual Agriculture Appreciation Dinner.
Machinery Pete was the featured speaker for the dinner that included the recognition of the outstanding youth in agriculture and two agribusiness and friends of agriculture.
Peterson talked about a recent visit with Crofton farmer Dale Seay during his auction on December 14th.

click to download audioTrigg County High School FFA Advisor Karen Nolcox presented the outstanding youth in agriculture award to Trigg County FFA and 4-H President Jennie Watts.
Agriculture Committee member Stephanie Perry honored Farm Credit Mid-America and H & R Agripower for encouraging their employees to be an active part of the Trigg County agriculture community.

click to download audioTo close out the evening Trigg County Judge Executive and agriculture committee member Stan Humphries presented a $5,000 donation from the agriculture committee to Helping Hands of Trigg County to help in the organizations mission to feed the hungry in the county.
