Hoptown Turkey Trot

Walkers, runners, joggers, skaters, bikers and even dogs (on leashes) of all ages and paces are welcome to take on the 3.1-mile race. Race participants are requested to register online prior to the event even if they are not purchasing a race shirt. The race start time is 8:00am.

The Turkey Trot, which is a non-competitive, non-timed race, will be free for all participants as usual. Over the years it has grown to attract 1,200-1,500 participants. This year, runners/walkers will have an opportunity to purchase a souvenir race shirt for $25.00. Proceeds from the shirts will benefit the Hopkinsville Greenway Rail Trail, which is utilized in the racecourse.
