Month of the Military Child Proclamation Signing

Proclamation Signing on April 8, 2025
To kick off the month-long celebration, a proclamation signing will take place at the Christian County Fiscal Court on April 8th, 2025. Christian County Judge Executive Jerry Gilliam, Mayor James Knight of Hopkinsville, and Mayor Jackie Oliver of Oak Grove will participate in the signing ceremony, officially designating April as the Month of the Military Child and recognizing April 15th as Purple Up Day. This day encourages the entire community to wear purple to show support for military children and families.
